Class Description
Neutrality Foundations is an ongoing weekly support class for dogs who bark, whine, or overreact to dogs, people, or distractions — but have no aggression or bite history. This class provides structured reactivity drills, handler coaching, and calm exposure work to build confidence and engagement in public settings.
Who It's For
- Dogs who are leash reactive or overstimulated in public
- Dogs with prior training at Nova Pack (see requirements below)
- Owners who want continued coaching and real-world support
What You’ll Learn
- Leash pressure, spatial management, and engagement drills
- Disengagement from triggers
- Calm walking near other dogs/people
- Recovery and decompression after stress
Tools & Expectations
- Allowed: flat collar, slip lead, prong collar, e-collar
- 4–6 ft leash required (no long lines or retractables)
- Handlers must guide, interrupt, and redirect as needed
- No socializing or greeting other dogs — neutrality is the goal
Participation Requirements
Open only to dogs who have completed one of the following Nova Pack programs:
- At least 8 in-home training sessions
- 2+ months of day training
- Hybrid or Board & Train (minimum 3 weeks)
- No bite history, aggression, or handler risk
